History of Kushva and Suvorov Street

Kushva is one of the oldest industrial cities in the Urals, founded in 1735 following the development of a rich iron ore deposit on Mount Blagodat. The discoverer of the ore is considered to be the Vogul Stepan Chumpin, who showed the "iron mountain" to the Russians in the spring of 1735. Suvorov Street is one of the old urban arteries, which in pre-revolutionary times bore the names Rynochnaya, Tovarnaya, and Bazarnaya. Today it is a residential area of private housing, where a modern playground is located, which can be observed via webcam in real time.

The playground on Suvorov Street is the result of participatory budgeting, the "Blagodat for Children!" project, initiated by residents of Kushva. The area is equipped with two sandboxes, swings, a slide, play structures for toddlers, and wooden benches for adults. The sports area with football goals is fenced with a mesh fence, and outdoor gym equipment — pull-up bars and parallel bars — is installed on the right side. Lighting has been installed, allowing children to play football and exercise outdoors even after dark.

Suvorov Street in Kushva has established infrastructure: schools, shops, pharmacies, and cafes are located nearby. The playground can be reached by public transport — route No. 102 "Ploshchad Sovetov – st. Aziatskaya" runs along Suvorov Street (stop "Suvorov Street"). Buses No. 5 (Ploshchad Sovetov – Sad Dachny) and No. 2 (Kushva Ploshchad Sovetov – KuEMZ) also run here.

Kushva is located 198 km north of Yekaterinburg and 50 km north of Nizhny Tagil, at the intersection of two railway lines.
