Intersection of Fadeyevykh and Soyuzov Streets in Kushva — Online Webcam
History of the Intersection: From Ore Trails to Asphalt
The modern asphalt on Fadeyevykh Street was once an ordinary dirt trail. Along it, a line of loaded horses with ore stretched from Mount Blagodat to the factory. The street itself was named in memory of tragic events: it honors Dmitry Zinovievich Fadeyev and his son Konstantin, who fell at the hands of the White Guards in 1918. Dmitry Fadeyev was a mine foreman and actively participated in the activities of the RSDLP in the Kushva area. The local history museum located on Fadeyevykh Street introduces visitors to the exposition on the formation and development of the district.
Mount Blagodat and Industrial Heritage
From Soyuzov Street, there is a view of Mount Blagodat — the main landmark of Kushva. In the central part of this elevation, there is an impressive-sized quarry, and a little further away, an old factory, the city of Kushva itself, and the Kushva Pond can be seen. The city of Kushva is historically divided into two residential areas — eastern and western — which are separated from each other by the factory, the railway, and the pond. Thanks to this feature, the intersection of Fadeyevykh and Soyuzov is in a unique location, connecting different parts of the settlement.
Transport Accessibility: How to Get There
Getting to this intersection by public transport is quite simple. Bus route No. 102 "Sovetov Square – Aziatskaya Station" runs to the "Fadeyevykh Street" stop. This is a convenient route for those who want to see the city of Kushva in person after watching it through the webcam in real time.
Road Conditions and Infrastructure
The road surface at the intersection needs attention: the asphalt shows signs of wear, cracks, and potholes. Local authorities are taking measures to address the situation. Fadeyevykh Street underwent major road repairs on the section from Pervomayskaya Street to Kuzmina Street. Pothole repairs are also carried out regularly on the road surface — for example, 20 tons of asphalt concrete mixture were allocated to eliminate surface defects. The intersection is equipped with a round turnaround area with decorative cobblestone paving.
What's Visible on the Camera
The camera overlooking the city square of Kushva broadcasts an urban intersection in a residential area. The frame shows asphalt pavement with characteristic signs of wear typical for the city. In the center of the intersection, decorative cobblestone paving is visible. A silver SUV is parked near the building with a green facade. Green shrubs and grass grow along the edges of the road, and on the left, there is a pedestrian path with a fence. Residential and commercial buildings can be seen in the background, and in the distance, the silhouette of Mount Blagodat rises. The live broadcast allows you to monitor the road situation and weather conditions in Kushva.
