Webcam Kuzmina Boulevard, Omsk — Live Broadcast of Kuzminki Neighborhood
A Bird's-Eye View of Omsk's Youngest Neighborhood
This live webcam broadcasts the life of one of the youngest and most dynamically developing districts of Omsk. The camera is installed on Kuzmina Boulevard and offers a panoramic view of the Kuzminki residential area — a territory that just a few years ago was a wasteland, and today is a modern neighborhood with its own infrastructure. In the frame are a sports ground with a red running track, a bright school facade, and rows of high-rise buildings where thousands of Omsk families live.
A Hero's Name on the Left Bank Map
The boulevard is named after Hero of the Soviet Union Mikhail Mikhailovich Kuzmin (1918–1996) — an artilleryman who distinguished himself in battle during the Great Patriotic War, stopping enemy tanks. The decision to name the boulevard after him was made by Decision No. 243 of the Omsk City Council dated April 22, 2009. Thus, the Kirov District immortalized the memory of a warrior whose feat became part of the city's history.
Kuzminki Neighborhood: Turnkey Comprehensive Development
The online camera shows a territory that has been transformed into an independent neighborhood since the 2010s. Here, 17 residential buildings ranging from 18 to 21 stories have been built — monolithic brick buildings with diverse architecture. The development was comprehensive: in addition to residential buildings, kindergartens, a school, sports facilities, and landscaped courtyards appeared on the territory. The neighborhood is located in the center of Omsk's Left Bank, in the Kirov Administrative District, and is considered one of the prestigious areas for young families.
School and Sports in the Courtyard
In the center of the frame is a modern school building with a bright colored facade. This is the Technological Lyceum "Avangard", which accepts students from Kuzmina Boulevard and adjacent streets. Next to the school is a sports ground with a football field and a red running track. The facility was created with the support of the Avangard hockey club and the Backyard Hockey School Foundation: in winter, an ice rink is flooded here, and in summer the ground is used for team sports. A kindergarten with a distinctive red roof and a playground for toddlers are also visible on the territory.
How to Get to Kuzmina Boulevard
The "M.M. Kuzmina Boulevard" public transport stop is located on Krupskaya Street — the main artery of the neighborhood. The following routes pass through it: buses 3, 14, 28, 78, 88; trolleybus 7M; minibuses 270, 275(M), 365, 409, 410, 415. In 2020, the reconstruction of Krupskaya Street was completed near Kuzminki — the so-called "billion-ruble road" that connected the neighborhood to the city center. Today, within walking distance from the boulevard are stores, pharmacies, cafes, marketplace pickup points, and public transport stops.
The Irtysh River and Nearby Attractions
The Kuzminki neighborhood is located in close proximity to the Irtysh River. From the "M.M. Kuzmina Boulevard" stop, there is a view of Green Island and the "Around the World" Ferris wheel — one of the symbols of Omsk's Left Bank. The riverbank area is accessible on foot, making the neighborhood attractive for walks and recreation by the water. On the territory of Kuzmina Boulevard, 21, 13 parking zones have been arranged, and the courtyards feature recreation areas and landscaping.
