Victory 60th Anniversary Bridge in Omsk — online webcam traffic
The Victory 60th Anniversary Bridge in Omsk is not just a river crossing, but a key transport artery of the city. Our online webcam broadcasts traffic on this strategic facility in real time, allowing you to assess road congestion before your trip.
Metromost: Omsk's Main Transport Artery
This bridge became the third crossing over the Irtysh, forever changing the city's logistics. Thousands of vehicles cross it daily, relieving congestion in the center. Thanks to online video surveillance, you can track how traffic jams form on the approach roads during peak hours.
A Two-Tier Giant Across the Irtysh
The design is unique: it is a combined road and metro bridge. The upper tier accommodates six lanes of traffic (three in each direction), and the roadway width reaches 32 meters. The total length of the structure is approximately 653 meters.
From Frunze Street to the Left Bank
The road section connects Frunze Street on the right bank and Konev Street on the left. This allows quick access from the central district to the Left Bank area, bypassing the old bridge.
The Metro That Is Still Awaited
The lower level of the bridge consists of two tunnels with railway tracks. It was originally designed as part of the planned Omsk Metro line (a section between Zarechnaya and Pushkin Library stations). However, the tunnels remain empty to this day, awaiting the start of metro construction.
Traffic Intensity and Interchanges
The bridge was opened around 2004 and immediately took on the main traffic flow. Special turns are organized at the interchange near the Metromost, including an offset left turn onto 3rd Yeniseiskaya Street. The road camera shows how traffic is distributed across these interchanges.
What the Camera Shows
The webcam is positioned so that the frame captures not only the bridge itself with its intense vehicle traffic, but also the surrounding urban environment. On the right, residential high-rise buildings and advertising structures on their facades are visible, as well as a construction crane. In the background stretches the wide Irtysh with its green opposite bank. At night, the bridge is illuminated by street lighting, creating a picturesque picture of the city at night.
