The name of this place speaks for itself. Le Saline Beach is named after the ancient salt works that have existed in this area since 1200. Salt was once mined here, and today it is a popular swimming coast. A reminder of the past is the 16th-century Spanish Torre delle Saline tower, which until the mid-19th century was part of the fortification complex of the Catalan-Aragonese period. It rises in the northern part and served as protection from raids.
