Dobryanka Wake Park in Perm Krai — Live Webcam Online
Dobryanka — a town on the banks of the Kama Reservoir
Dobryanka is a small town in Perm Krai, located on the banks of the Kama Reservoir. The first written mention of the settlement dates back to 1623–1624, when the village of Dobryanka on the Kama River was recorded in the cadastral book of M. F. Kaisarov. Today, about 30,000 people live here — a typical Ural town with a rich history of mining industry.
Despite its modest size, Dobryanka continues to develop. One of the new directions has become active recreation and water sports, which attract not only local residents but also guests from the entire Kama region.
The Vozh River and the Komarovo District
The wake park is located in the Komarovo district, on the banks of the Vozh River. This name has Komi-Permyak origins and translates as "tributary". Before the creation of the Kama Reservoir in the mid-1950s, the Vozh was indeed a left tributary of the Dobryanka River, but after the water level rose, it turned into a bay separating the Komarovo and Zadobryanka districts.
It is here, on the calm water area, that the webcam operates, allowing you to observe what is happening in real time. The camera is aimed at the water zone with a view of the opposite bank, where residential houses and buildings of the Zadobryanka district are visible.
The First Cable Wake Park in Dobryanka
The Dobryanka wake park opened in 2018 and became the first and only cable wake club within the city. Its founder is Pavel Bovtyun, who started with a passion for kitesurfing and then decided to create a full-fledged base for wakeboarding.
The idea came after visiting a wake park in Perm. Bovtyun set up a cable system, installed floating obstacles, and created a space where both beginners and experienced athletes can train. The park's address is Komsomolsky Lane, 8a.
Wakeboarding and Other Water Sports
Wakeboarding is an extreme sport that combines elements of water skiing slalom, acrobatics, and snowboarding. The athlete holds onto a cable that pulls them across the water and performs jumps and tricks on special ramps. The Dobryanka wake park has white floating obstacles of various configurations, visible from the webcam.
In addition to wakeboarding, the park offers sup surfing — riding on a special board without bindings, making it more accessible for beginners. The territory also features a rope park, a gym, and tennis courts, so everyone can find something to their liking.
Online Broadcast from the Wake Park
The webcam is installed at the first platform with the "Vertigo" reverse and operates around the clock. It shows the water area in real time, allowing extreme sports enthusiasts and the simply curious to observe what is happening on the water. The camera is available at any time — day and night, on weekdays and weekends.
The online broadcast is especially convenient for those planning to visit the wake park: you can assess the situation on the water in advance, see if there are athletes on the water area right now, and choose a suitable time for training.
What You Can See on the Camera
In the foreground of the webcam is a green artificial surface with a yellow cable rope used for cable wakeboarding. On the water area, there are white floating obstacle ramps and a green marker buoy. The water is calm, with reflections of trees. In the background is a forested bank with residential houses and buildings of the Zadobryanka district. The camera is aimed at the water zone of the wake park with a view of the opposite bank.
