History of the Ski Base

Shymbulak began operating as a sports ski base in 1954. In those days, athletes had to climb the slopes on foot, and the journey took about three hours. Eurasian Alliance of Mountain Resorts

In 2023, Shymbulak joined forces with Amirsoy (Uzbekistan) and Rosa Khutor (Russia) resorts to form the Eurasian Alliance of Mountain Resorts. This association allows for experience sharing, development of ski tourism, and attracting guests from different countries.
