The recent history of the fanpark is linked to hosting the 2019 Winter Universiade, where the complex served as a key venue for snowboarding competitions. Additionally, stages of the Russian Cup are regularly held here — in 2012, 2014, 2022, and 2023, athletes competed in parallel slalom, snowboard cross, and big air. In 2012, the fanpark hosted the Russian Snowboarding Championships, which confirmed the high quality of the prepared runs.

Technical Specifications of the Cableways

The ascent to the upper station is served by modern chairlifts, each with its own characteristics. The main chairlift K2 is equipped with four-person chairs featuring detachable clamps, protective bows, and footrests — ensuring comfort and safety for passengers in any weather conditions. Lift K1 is a four-person chairlift system with fixed-grip clamps, and for beginner skiers there is a two-person surface lift.

The lift parameters are impressive: the trail network stretches for 10,917 meters, the maximum altitude reaches 517 meters, and the vertical drop is 350 meters. The ride to the upper station takes between 5 and 11 minutes depending on the chosen lift and weather conditions. Payment for the ride is made via QR code, and the fanpark operates year-round — both in winter and summer.

Panoramic Views from the Upper Station

The upper station offers breathtaking panoramic views that attract not only athletes but also tourists who come to admire the Siberian wilderness. The view of the city of Krasnoyarsk stretches all the way to the Yenisei River, which glimmers silver in the distance under the sun. In clear weather, you can make out the outlines of Takmak village and the boundless expanses of the Stolby Nature Reserve.

In summer, the slopes are covered with emerald pine and birch forest, which appears like a velvet carpet from a bird's-eye view. The upper station is located right at the entrance to the Krasnoyarskie Stolby National Park — a unique natural landmark known far beyond the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Originally, the chairlift was built partly for visitors to the reserve, and today this historical connection is preserved.

From the upper station, hiking trails lead to the rocky massif. A short route of about 1–1.5 km takes you to an observation deck where you can examine the famous Siberian Stolby — oddly shaped granite rock formations — up close. The chairlifts are open to tourists in any season. In summer, riding to the upper station is an opportunity to see Krasnoyarsk from above, enjoy the pure mountain air, and take a walk through the reserve without the strenuous climb. In winter, the station serves as the endpoint for skiers and snowboarders, as well as a place from which to view the snow-covered slopes.
