Aquaforum Water Complex — the Pearl of a Czech Spa Resort

Uherské Hradiště is a small town in southern Moravia, known for its vineyards, folk traditions, and picturesque architecture. But its main pride is the Aquaforum Uherské Hradiště water park, considered the largest and most beautiful among all Czech spa towns. The water complex is part of Spa Resort PAWLIK-AQUAFORUM — one of the largest spa resorts in the Czech Republic. Hotel guests access the water park directly from the building, and for them, admission is included in the accommodation price. For other visitors, a separate ticketing system is in place, and children under 110 cm tall enter for free — a rare and welcome policy for family water complexes.

Indoor Pool — the Heart of the Water Park

The centerpiece of the complex is the indoor swimming pool, which is exactly what falls within the web camera's view. The water park area is divided into 4 functional zones. Two indoor zones include jacuzzis, a "wild river" (a special current simulating a river flow), and two large water slides. The third zone is a wellness center with spa treatments where you can catch your breath after active recreation. The fourth zone is outdoors and operates during the warmer months.

Among the attractions are toboggans, children's slides, "black holes" (enclosed slides with surprise effects), a space bowl (a funnel in which riders spin several times before being launched into the pool), "wild" rivers with rushing currents, "pirate" ships for the little ones, pearl baths, and hydromassage installations. Special mention goes to the wave pools with artificial surf — a rarity even for large European water parks.

The water park is open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. This is a convenient schedule for families with children — you can arrive in the morning when there are fewer visitors and spend the whole day, leisurely moving from one zone to another. In the evening hours, the atmosphere becomes more relaxed: after 6:00 PM, many families with young children leave, and the pool fills primarily with adult swimmers.

An important detail: unlike Karlovy Vary or other thermal spa resorts in the Czech Republic, Aquaforum does not use natural thermal or mineral water. The water in the pools is regular, heated to the desired temperature. For some, this may seem like a disadvantage, but from a hygiene and quality control perspective, it is rather an advantage: the water undergoes regular filtration and treatment according to strict European standards.

The water park has 4 webcams broadcasting live. The cameras cover the swimming pool, the teaching pool, the heated pool, and the entertainment zone. The live camera on the swimming pool is the most popular among viewers: here you can watch swimmers train, assess lane occupancy before planning a visit, or simply enjoy the calm atmosphere of the aquatic space.

The broadcast runs around the clock, though it is most informative during the water park's opening hours. At night, the pool is lit with dimmed lights, the lanes are deserted — a completely different picture, suitable for meditative contemplation. On weekends and public holidays, occupancy is at its maximum, especially during the morning hours from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Uherské Hradiště — a Town Worth Visiting

The water park is not the only reason to stay in Uherské Hradiště. The town is located in the Slovácko region — the most wine-producing part of the Czech Republic, where white wines rivaling Austrian ones are produced. The historic center with Renaissance and Baroque houses, the Regional Museum with its collection of folk costumes, the annual folklore festival "Summer in Slovácko" — all this makes the town attractive not just for water entertainment enthusiasts.
