Zarechye Playground in Kirzhach — Online Webcam
The settlement of Zarechye and its unique playground
In the Kirzhachsky District of Vladimir Oblast, there is a small settlement called Zarechye — a quiet place on the left bank of the Sherna River, approximately 24 kilometers southwest of Kirzhach. A few years ago, this was an ordinary residential area, but today it features a modern play complex that attracts attention not only from local residents but also from travelers interested in well-maintained spaces across the region. The webcam in Zarechye allows you to see this space in real time — watch children play on modern equipment and appreciate the scale of transformation.
The settlement is part of the Filippovskoye Rural Settlement and retains the atmosphere of provincial Russian countryside. It is here, on Stroiteley Proezd, near house No. 12, that a playground appeared — the first science-play territory for children in the region.
How the playground on Stroiteley Proezd came to be
The idea of creating a well-maintained space in Zarechye took real shape thanks to the federal project "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" under the national project "Housing and Urban Environment." This is not just another routine courtyard renovation — it is a full-fledged initiative that went through a public voting phase.
In 2023, residents of Kirzhach participated in online voting for improvement projects. Based on the results, the playground project on Stroiteley Proezd received the most votes. This means that the residents of Zarechye and Kirzhach themselves decided that their settlement should receive a modern play space.
The grand opening took place on July 9–10, 2024. Over those two days, the playground welcomed its first visitors, while journalists and local activists were able to assess the results of extensive work. Since then, this place has become a magnet for families with children not only from Zarechye but also from neighboring settlements in the Kirzhachsky District.
Science and development theme: "Meteorology"
The main feature of the Zarechye playground is that it is not just a set of swings and slides — it is a full-fledged educational complex. The project is designed around the theme of "Meteorology", making it unique for Vladimir Oblast and the entire region.
A children's weather station has been installed on the grounds — a simplified but functional version of real scientific equipment. Kids can observe weather phenomena, study precipitation, wind direction, and temperature. Nearby, there is an information board dedicated to the seasons, which helps children understand seasonal changes in nature.
This approach to equipping play areas is rare for small settlements. Scientific elements usually appear in urban parks of large cities, not in rural areas. Zarechye has become an example of how a federal program can bring not just standard solutions to the countryside, but truly innovative projects.
Play elements and territory arrangement
In addition to the scientific component, the playground offers a classic set of entertainment for children of different ages. The green lawn area is filled with diverse structures:
Swings on a metal green frame — a sturdy structure suitable for both toddlers and older children. A carousel with several seats allows kids to ride together. A spring rocker develops coordination and balance. A multifunctional play structure combines slides, a climbing wall, and rings — a child can spend several hours here, moving from one element to another.
You can also spot a children's tricycle on the grounds — one of the young visitors left it near the play zone. A wooden picket fence and a brick fence with metal railings form the boundaries of the playground, creating a sense of security and privacy.
Landscape and surroundings
Zarechye is a settlement with architecture typical of Vladimir Oblast. In the background, you can see residential houses with red roofs — a classic example of the private sector in rural Russia. To the right of the playground, coniferous trees grow, maintaining their green color year-round and giving the area a cozy appearance.
The Sherna River, on whose bank the settlement lies, flows through the entire eastern part of the Kirzhachsky District. It is a left tributary of the Klyazma, and its banks create the picturesque landscape that distinguishes these places from the flat territories of central Russia.
How to get to Zarechye from Kirzhach
For those who want to see the playground not only on the webcam but also in person, the route from Kirzhach to Zarechye takes about half an hour by car. You need to head southwest — the settlement is located approximately 24 kilometers from the district center.
The road passes through the rural landscape of the Kirzhachsky District — fields, groves, and small villages. The settlement's coordinates are easy to find on any navigation map by searching for "Zarechye Kirzhachsky District." Entry to the settlement is unrestricted, the playground is located on Stroiteley Proezd and is accessible for visits at any time.

Kirzhachsky District and its improved territories
Kirzhachsky District is one of the municipalities of Vladimir Oblast actively participating in federal improvement programs. Zarechye is not the only example, but one of the most illustrative. Here, the play function has been successfully combined with an educational one, making the project attractive for replication in other settlements across the region.
Vladimir Oblast is historically rich in small settlements — villages and hamlets with populations of just a few hundred people. It is precisely such territories that are often overlooked when planning improvement projects. The project in Zarechye demonstrates that even on a modest scale, it is possible to create a space that will serve generations.
Online cameras in the Kirzhachsky District are a relatively new phenomenon. They are appearing at key public spaces, allowing residents and visitors to observe the life of settlements in real time. The Zarechye webcam is part of this network, ensuring transparency and accessibility of information about the condition of improved facilities.
What you can see on the camera
The Zarechye webcam broadcasts a view of the playground from a height that covers the entire play area. In the frame is a green lawn on which all elements of the complex are located: swings on a green metal frame, a carousel with several seats, a spring rocker, a multifunctional structure with slides and a climbing wall, as well as gymnastics rings.
The playground area is enclosed by a wooden picket fence on one side and a brick fence with metal railings on the other. In the background of the frame, residential houses with characteristic red roofs are visible. Coniferous trees grow on the right, creating a natural backdrop. In the upper left corner, there is an information overlay with technical broadcast data.
The live stream allows you to observe children's activity in real time — see which elements are most popular, how the playground fills up at different hours, and how the lighting of the area changes throughout the day. The online camera in Zarechye is a window into the life of a small settlement, accessible to anyone who wants to see the Russian countryside as it truly is — well-maintained, lively, and authentic.
