Beliy Grad residential complex: the project and the developer
The Beliy Grad residential quarter is a project by PJSC INGRAD, one of the largest developers in the Moscow Region. The complex is being built on an area of 23 hectares in the village of Chelobityevo, Mytishchi Urban Okrug. The architecture is executed in a modern style — the buildings differ in height, facade color schemes, and window layouts, giving the neighborhood a diverse silhouette.
The project provides for the construction of two schools, four kindergartens, a dedicated sports and recreation complex with a swimming pool, ground-level parking facilities, a shopping center with an area of 10,360 sq. m, and a retail and office center (3,180 sq. m). All of this makes Beliy Grad a self-sufficient neighborhood with its own developed infrastructure, rather than just a bedroom community.
Surroundings: Chelobityevo, rivers, and parks
The Beliy Grad residential complex is located at: Moscow Region, city of Mytishchi, village of Chelobityevo, Kolhoznaya Street. The village of Chelobityevo is effectively within the city limits of Mytishchi, although formally it retains its status as a village within the Mytishchi Urban Okrug.
The landscape around the complex is shaped by the Borisovka River, the Sukromka River, and the Borisovsky Pond. On the Sukromka there is a small waterfall — a picturesque spot for walks. In the 13th microdistrict of Mytishchi stretches Yauza Park — about 360 hectares and approximately 20 km long, making it one of the longest parks in Europe. The park was officially established in 2003 and stretches along the riverbed of the Yauza River.
The Yauza River is historically significant: until the 18th century, it was part of a trade route from the Moscow River basin to the Klyazma River basin with a portage near Mytishchi. And the springs in the upper reaches of the Yauza from the early 19th century to the mid-20th century fed the Mytishchi water supply system — the first centralized water supply of Moscow, built in 1779–1804.
TPP-27: the cooling tower in the background
The dominant object in the background of the broadcast is the cooling tower of TPP-27, the youngest power station in the Mosenergo system. Construction began in 1987 under the original name "Severnaya TPP." The first hot-water boiler was commissioned on December 25, 1992, the first power unit in 1996, and the second in 1998.
The total electric capacity of the first two power units amounted to 160 MW, with a heat capacity of 1,100 Gcal/h. The station is located in the village of Chelobityevo and provides heat and electricity to Mytishchi, as well as the North and Northeast of Moscow. The construction of TPP-27 made it possible to eliminate about 200 small, smoky boiler houses in the city, which significantly improved the environmental situation. Today, about 300 people work at the station.
In 2007–2008, power units No. 3 and No. 4 (CCGT-450) were commissioned at TPP-27. For the first time in Russia, installations were introduced here that decompose nitrogen oxides in exhaust gases into molecular nitrogen and water vapor, which noticeably improved the environmental friendliness of the station. An interesting fact: in 1990, the Moscow City Council decided to halt construction due to public protests over environmental concerns. However, after the implementation of environmental protection measures, construction was resumed.
Transport accessibility
The Beliy Grad residential complex has convenient transport connections to Moscow. The nearest metro station is Medvedkovo, about 18 minutes by car without traffic. Two quick routes to the MKAD — via Volkovskoye (1.8 km) and Yaroslavskoye Highway (6 km) — take about 15 minutes. A new road is being built, providing an additional exit to Ostashkovskoye Highway and the MKAD.
For those who prefer public transport, the nearest railway stations are Mytishchi, Perlovskaya, and Tayninskaya. By electric train from Yaroslavsky Station, they can be reached in about half an hour. From there, take a scheduled bus to the Sukromka River, and then about 2 km on foot to the neighborhood.
Neighborhood infrastructure
The Beliy Grad project is conceived as an integrated development with full infrastructure. In addition to residential buildings in the comfort class, the territory includes two schools and four kindergartens — enough for families with children of different ages. The sports and recreation complex with a swimming pool will become the center of the neighborhood's sports life.
The shopping center with an area of 10,360 sq. m and the retail and office center (3,180 sq. m) will provide residents with retail and services within walking distance. Ground-level parking facilities will solve the problem of car storage. Pedestrian zones are designed between the buildings, and green areas with trees and shrubs create a comfortable environment for relaxation.
