Central Park of Culture and Recreation in Orsk — Online Webcam
Orsk is a city in the Orenburg region, home to one of the most well-maintained parks in the area. The Central Park of Culture and Recreation named after V.P. Polyanichko is a favorite destination for both locals and visitors. Our online webcam allows you to see this place in real time without leaving your home.
History of Orsk Central Park
The park was founded in 1958 as a 12-hectare recreational area divided into active and quiet zones. Originally it was named "Park of Culture and Recreation named after the 50th Anniversary of the Komsomol" — this name was assigned in 1968 by decision of the city executive committee. In March 1997, the Orsk City Council of Deputies decided to rename the park in honor of Victor Petrovich Polyanichko — a historian, journalist, and political figure who tragically died in the line of duty.
In the 1960s, the park hosted mass folk celebrations: farewell to winter, Victory Day commemorations, and other significant dates. Brass band concerts became a tradition that continues to this day.
Attractions and Park Features
The Central Park territory features various recreational and entertainment facilities. The rides were installed in 1964 and still attract visitors of all ages. The park also includes:
- Monument to the Family — a symbol of family values and generational continuity
- Pond — a scenic water body where visitors enjoy strolls
- Tennis Center — a sports facility for tennis enthusiasts
- Fountain — the park's centerpiece, especially beautiful in the evening
Well-maintained alleys, green spaces, and benches create a comfortable atmosphere for walks at any time of year.
Holidays and Events in the Park
Orsk Central Park is the main venue for city celebrations. Events are regularly held here, drawing thousands of residents:
- City Day — celebrated in August, with festive venues set up right in the park
- International Children's Day (June 1) — entertainment programs, concerts, and library zones
- Mass Folk Celebrations — farewell to winter, Victory Day, and other holidays
- Brass Band Concerts — every Wednesday and Sunday

The event schedule may change, so it is recommended to check the program on official city resources before visiting.
