Bobrovy Log Fun Park — Krasnoyarsk's Premier Ski Resort

The resort was opened on December 3, 2006 as part of a public-private partnership with the company Nornickel. However, the history of this place began much earlier — back in 1973, the first chairlift appeared here, serving ski jumpers and visitors to the nature reserve.

K1 Ski Lift: Technical Specifications

The K1 lift is a four-person chairlift that serves as the primary means of ascending to the resort's ski runs. Its length is 1,470 meters, with an elevation difference of 345 meters. The upper station is situated at an altitude of 514 meters above sea level. The chairlift speed is 5 m/s, so the one-way journey takes about 5 minutes — enough time to enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding slopes and prepare for the descent.

Winter Season and Sporting Events

Bobrovy Log fun park is not just a place for recreational skiing — it's a full-fledged sports arena. In 2019, the resort became one of the key venues for the 2019 Winter Universiade. Earlier, in 2012, it hosted the Russian Snowboard Championship in parallel slalom and snowboard cross. The resort's runs also hosted stages of the Russian Snowboard Cup in 2012, 2014, 2022, and 2023. In total, the fun park features 14 runs and 5 ski lifts, including the K1 and K2 chairlifts as the main lifts, along with several surface lifts.

Infrastructure and Run Preparation

The lower station of the K1 lift is located near the Navigator fan club at 92/5 Sibirskaya Street. This is the central gathering point for guests, where you'll find ticket offices, equipment rental, changing rooms, and a café. The resort is equipped with a modern automated snowmaking system by TechnoAlpin and Kässbohrer snow groomers, which keep the runs in perfect condition even when natural snowfall is insufficient. The runs are illuminated in the evening, allowing skiing until late at night.

Summer Season and Natural Beauty

Bobrovy Log is not just a winter resort. During the warm season, the cable car operates for tourists who want to enjoy panoramic views. In clear weather, visibility from the top of the lift reaches 50 kilometers — you can see distant areas of Krasnoyarsk and the surrounding region. The name "Bobrovy Log" (Beaver Ravine) is linked to the fact that beavers historically inhabited this area, and the ravine itself is a picturesque valley surrounded by rocky slopes of the Eastern Sayan mountains. Nearby is the famous Stolby Nature Reserve — one of Siberia's main natural attractions.
